This region is characterized by highly favorable solar exposure, with a projected insolation of up to 1,430 kWh\/m\u00b2, significantly exceeding national averages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:2\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:2\">The Brebex solar power plant will have installed capacity of 300 MW and an expected annual electricity production of 475 GWh. This power complex includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>Solar park (solar panels, inverters, internal MV cable network, prefabricated TS 33\/08 kV)<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>TS 33\/400 kV Substation <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>400 kV Switchyard<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>400 kV OHL no. 404 TS 400\/220\/110 kV Ni\u0161 2 \u2013 Stolnik (Sofija), connecting into 400 kV switchyard<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>Access road and<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"line-height:2\"><p>Energy storage facility<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height:2\">Construction work on the site began in September 2025, and completion is planned by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Solar Power Plant Brebex To maximize the utilization of Serbia\u2019s solar resources, a hilly and mountainous area in the eastern part of the country was selected.
